Industries

How a good website should work depends on the business behind it.

We research the customer journey, services, local search behavior and trust signals for each type of business before deciding what its website should contain. These guides document that thinking.

What these pages are — and are not

An industry guide is our researched model of the problems a particular kind of business needs its website to solve. It covers information architecture, customer journeys, local SEO, conversion and trust. It is not a claim that every business in the category works the same way.

Where VeloStack has actually built a site for that industry, we identify the real implementation plainly. Where we have not, we use research and comparable businesses to explain patterns without presenting those businesses as our clients.

Built from the customer's decision

A plumber, a realtor and a welding shop may all need a phone number and a service area, but the questions behind the click are different. We start with those questions, then work backward to the pages, proof and calls to action that deserve to exist.
