Two phases. Different jobs.

Months 1–6: build the foundation

The first six months are deliberately front-loaded. We build the pages with the clearest local buying intent, fix technical issues, improve internal linking, monitor Search Console and establish the search coverage the business actually needs.

We also work toward organic backlink growth rather than buying a monthly quota. That means keeping core citations consistent and pursuing relevant, credible opportunities when there is a real reason for another site, organization or local resource to reference the business. We will not manufacture links just to make a report look busy.

After month 6: strengthen what is working

By then, the early data becomes useful. We strengthen pages that are gaining impressions or sitting just outside the top results, improve internal links, maintain the technical foundation and expand only where the search results justify it. The ongoing rate drops to $149/mo because the work is no longer the same front-loaded foundation build.

How a search becomes a page

First, we check the search. We search the term and read the results. If the search environment is too crowded to make a credible organic target, we drop it. A local result can still be viable with a strong profile; plain organic results are often the clearest opportunity.

Then we build for the buyer. Someone researching what SEO is may be months from spending money. Someone searching for a local service is closer to action. We build the ready-to-buy pages first and let the guides earn earlier stages later.

Then we check the city page. Before a city page ships, we replace the city name with a different city and read it again. If it still makes sense, it is a doorway page. It gets deleted or folded into the single service areas page.

And we improve what already exists. Anything already sitting in positions 11–20 with real impression volume gets fixed before we write something new. Rescuing a near-miss can beat ten fresh pages.

Where the effort goes, and why

Not everything you can do for local search is worth the same. If your Google profile is a mess, we fix that first and tell you the site can wait. It is the right order when the goal is more calls, not simply more SEO work.

What we will not do

We will not guarantee rankings, sell a page for every town within an hour, keyword-stuff your business name or bill you for hundreds of directory submissions. We also will not sell a fixed number of backlinks just to make the work sound bigger. The goal is relevant authority and better search visibility, not link-count theater.

What lands on the 1st

One report. Work performed, line by line, dated. Calls and direction requests from your Google profile. Keywords that moved between the 11–20, 4–10 and 1–3 bands. Pages published, whether Search Console has indexed them, and the citation or backlink opportunities we pursued.

Sessions and domain rating do not appear. If a number cannot plausibly turn into a booked job, it does not belong in the report.

Straight answers

Questions we get on the retainer.

What am I actually buying for $299 a month?

For the first 6 months, the $299/mo introductory rate covers the active foundation-building phase: pages, technical work, internal linking, Search Console monitoring and reporting. It also includes building relevant citations and pursuing credible backlink opportunities where they naturally make sense for the business. After that, the ongoing rate is $149/mo for continued optimization and maintenance.

Why does the price drop to $149 after six months?

The first phase is front-loaded. We are building the search foundation, fixing technical issues and establishing the service and location coverage. Once that foundation exists, the ongoing work is lighter and the price reflects that rather than pretending the same amount of work happens forever.

How long before it works?

A new site usually needs three to six months before organic visibility becomes meaningful. There is a faster clock running alongside it: Google Business Profile changes can show movement in days to weeks, which is why we usually recommend starting there if getting more calls this quarter matters more than organic growth next quarter.

Why not just target more keywords at once?

Each page needs a clear primary search intent. Before we commit to a term, we search it and look at what comes back. If the result is not realistically winnable or useful to the business, we choose a better target.

Do you build a page for every city nearby?

No. That is how you end up with doorway pages. A real city page has to contain something true about that city that would be false somewhere else. Otherwise we keep the geography on a single service-areas page rather than manufacturing duplicates.

Will you build backlinks?

Not as a monthly volume product. During the first six months we build a sound citation foundation and pursue relevant, credible backlink opportunities when they make sense for the business. We do not promise a fixed number of backlinks because quality, relevance and editorial context matter more than a monthly count.

What do you report?

Calls, direction requests, keywords moving between the 11–20, 4–10 and 1–3 bands, pages published and indexed, backlink and citation opportunities pursued, and the work performed. Not vanity metrics that cannot plausibly turn into a booked job.
